2. service description
astream provides live streaming services for various events including weddings, funerals, social events, and parties. we operate in established venues, on location, and outdoors, primarily within adelaide and its surrounding areas.
3. booking and payment
booking: all bookings must be made in advance through our official website or authorised representatives.
payment: full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your date and time. we accept major credit cards and other specified payment methods.
cancellations and refunds: cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a full refund. cancellations made 15-30 days before the event will receive a 50% refund. no refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 15 days before the event.
4. liability and insurance
liability: astream is not liable for any technical issues or interruptions in the live stream due to internet connectivity problems, equipment failure, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
insurance: clients are advised to secure their own event insurance to cover any potential losses or damages.
5. client responsibilities
permissions: it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary permissions and consents are obtained from venues and participants for the live streaming.
venue provisions: clients must ensure that venues provide power, access to any required equipment such as in-house screens and speakers, access to load in and out, and a suitable location to park vehicles nearby.
content: clients must ensure that the content to be streamed does not violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights.
6. privacy and confidentiality
data protection: astream is committed to protecting your privacy. we will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
recording: by using our services, you consent to the recording and storage of your event. you may request a copy of the recorded event, subject to additional fees.
7. intellectual property
all materials created by astream, including but not limited to video footage and audio recordings, remain the intellectual property of astream. clients are granted a licence to use these materials for personal purposes only.
8. force majeure
astream is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, and acts of war.
9. governing law
these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of south australia. any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of south australia.
10. amendments
astream reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. clients will be notified of any significant changes.
